PLCB Closes All Stores in Philadelphia Area After 18 Are Looted

Eighteen Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board retail stores were looted in Philadelphia after a judge dismissed all charges against a former Philadelphia police officer in a fatal shooting during a traffic stop.

As a result of the looting, the PLCB closed 48 retail wine and spirits shops in Philadelphia and one outside the city.

The city's police commission said he believed the PLCB looters were "a bunch of criminal opportunists take advantage of a situation," and the looting what not connected to the protests.
