Rain, Flooding Close Sonoma Winery 25 Days in Recent Months

Larson Family Winery in Sonoma County has closed for 25 days since December because of rain and flooding.  The issue is the road leading to Larson's tasting room which has been constantly flooded.

The flooding and road closures is a result of storm after storm passing over California.

Meanwhile, a report just out says goundwater pumping in 2021-22 was 18,790 acre-feet.  It was the third consecutive year that pumping exceeded Napa Valley subbasin's sustainable yield of 15,000 acre feet. That intense flooding is believed to be a result of a three-year drought.
