Spirit of Gallo Gets U.S. Rights to Komos, Highest-Rated Tequila

Spirit of Gallo has made a strategic investment in the brand, which is the highest-rated tequila portfolio, and has assumed U.S. distribution rights, effective immediately.  Terms weren't disclosed.

Komos is the first and only tequila to earn a 100-point score from The Tasting Panel magazine for Tequila Komos Extra Anejo.  

"In 2021, the Tequila category grew +17% with 81% of the growth coming from the Premium+ category. The Tequila Komos portfolio is comprised of Añejo Cristalino, Reposado Rosa and Extra Añejo.
