Marimar Estate Vineyards & Winery names Cristina Torres, 34, general manager. It's the first step in a year-long transition that will give Cristina full managerial control by 2024.  Cristina is the daughter of Marimar Torres, 77, who planted the vineyard in 1986, studied at UC Davis in 1988 and built her winery in 1992.  Marimar's family has been making wine in Spain since the 17th Century and backed her in creating the winery.

Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance named Taylor Serres of Serres Ranch its interim executive director, succeeding Adriana Duckworth, who served in the position for one year after being with the alliance for five.
